Bandana Day 2012

Hello Everyone,

I really had hoped I would get to this post earlier, but real life came up.

Today marks the end of Hair Fair 2012, and to end it, there is Bandana Day. A day where we take off our hair and put on a bandana in support of the cause. This is my favorite event in Second Life each year, as the proceeds go to such a wonderful cause.

52 Weeks- Wales Green

Hey everyone:)

Here is my offering this week for the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, Part Deux- Wales.

I've never been a really big fan of green, so I was glad that I had picked up Miel's FLF offering for this week. A lovely summer dress that is mesh. A Storm is Coming- Look # 39

Hey everyone,

I decided to go with a bit of a moody look today, and then I remembered that I had picked up the Eala dress at Collabor88, and had meant to blog it, but forgot about it. I think it fits in perfectly with the mood.

The dress does have a deformer option, which I absolutely love! No adjusting my shape, I just threw it on and it conformed to me. There is a notecard on the deformer, and it may not work in some viewers. I used both Firestorm and Exodus, and it worked in both for me. You can pick up the dress until August 7th.

I'm also wearing new hair from [e] that I am loving, but of course, she always puts out quality work!

Hey Lovelies:)

I'm kind of late in showing this skin since it came out yesterday, but I was not really around to do it.

As always, League has put out a truly fantastic skin. If it is possible, it is even better then Jen. I also love that she included a black eyebrow as well. When I Roleplay, I like to have a black brow option.

There are a ton of options that come with the skin, such as a breast dehancer and enhancer, freckles, nail base, and if you buy a set A, set B, or full fatpack, you get all of the lipsticks, or the lipsticks of that set as well, plus more. You can also buy the lipsticks in a fatpack separately for 995L.

A fatpack is 5,995 and you get 16 skins, plus all options. You can also buy Set A or B for 3,995L, and one skin is 1,195. There are a total of 7 skin tones ranging from Fair to Dark. In the pictures, I am showing off two skin tones, Sunkiss and Medium.

52 Weeks- Aqua Island

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am doing my offering for the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. This weeks color is Aqua Island. I LOVE any type of blue, but my absolute favorites are the lighter tones.

Another Beachy Day Look # 38

Huntress and her Beast- Look # 35

Hey everyone,

Today, a new event opened called Zodiac. As the name indicates, it is based off of the twelve zodiac signs of  each year. The first one is Leo, and runs from July 23rd to August 17th. The event is put on by The Hottie Cooterati Experience, and you can find information here: Zodiac.

I decided to show off an awesome pose prop done by Studio Sidhe that is at the event. The lion has three poses built in, and I am using one of them in the first picture.

These pictures kind of make me pine for my days in Gor, and I am thinking I will try to find a good sim in the genre again. Here is to hoping!

Sway's- Fu-rin

Hey everyone:)

I thought that I would start off the day by showing you these adorable Fu- rin (Japanese Wind Bells) done by Sway's.

There is a festival going on right now on the Sway sim, and it is called Fu-rin ichi (Wind Bell Market). You can find a lot of little adorable wind bells for very affordable prices.

Each Fu-rin is 70L, and if you touch the top part, you can toggle the sound on or off, and by toughing the bottom part, you can turn the rotation on or off. My favorite one is the hot air balloon. Just so cute!

One Voice Part 4

Transformation Look # 29

Hey Lovelies:)

I decided to play around with a mermaid look today, and it then turned into a Mermaid turning into a sort of human. Really, its just to show off one of my favorite finds at Hair Fair 2012, from Exile.

The Mermaid Tail comes in a pack of seven, and there are also full mesh Mermaid Avatars that come with skin, hair, tail and pasties.

I won't be doing a whole roll of posts showcasing hair from the fair. Instead I will use them in creating looking, using the ones I really love, since bloggers far better then I have already showcased the hair in wonderful ways.

The pictures were taken at Copley. It has a lovely underwater area, as well as an upper area that you can wander around. The sim owner is a very nice woman, and you are able to rezz there.

One Voice Part 3

Good morning Lovelies!

I have another look for the One Voice Charity Campaign for Gala of Curio.

The outfit I'm wearing is from Eclectic Apparel, and it comes with a blazer, tank top and pin stripe pants. All of them fit really well together. I'm also wearing the hair that Exile has available at the fair.

Belleza has a redone version of their Jesse Skin out at the fair, and I am loving the almost black brow on her. It is difficult to find a good really dark brow option. I love to wear black hair most of the time, but can never seem to find a skin with a dark enough brow for it.

The Jewelry I'm wearing is from Dark Mouse, and sadly, the doors will be closing on July 16th, 2012. Most everything in the store right now is 50% off.
