Elegance in a Piano Bar

A few days ago, Bouncer from Pixel Phasion 4 Men, and creator of Bounce This Poses decided to do a blog post with me that you can see on his blog. We then decided to do a collaboration on mine, and here are the results! I hope you enjoy them.

Beautiful Shyla

Afternoon Lovelies!

Two days ago, Belleza came out with a new skin called Shyla, and she is perfection. The skin has everything I look for.. A well defined body, the face is gorgeous, and the brows on this release are thicker then in previous releases, which I love. I'm showing you the skin with the dark brow, but it also comes with a blonde and red brow as well.

I decided to keep the post simple, and show you the skin in the medium tone.

Shyla comes in the usual six skin tones, with 16 make up options, and if you buy a line or fatpack you get 10 lipstick tattoo's. You can also buy the lipstick tattoo's separately.

Black and White- A Bloggers Challenge

Hey Lovelies!

So a couple of days ago, I saw a blog challenge posted on plurk by Hybie Mynx (Blogger- Its Only Fashion), that was then taken up by Maci Restless. The challenge is to post black and white images. You can find the information here: Black and White... A Bloggers Challenge.

I thought it looked like a pretty fun thing to do, and I had been looking for an excuse to blog the corset I am wearing by Ison, and the hair by Wasabi Pills, both of which I love.

I did go with keeping a bit of color in my pictures for a bit more impact. 

I also jumped on the mirror bandwagon..lol. I had done a few shots before using a glassy water setting, but this gives a much more defined mirror image of course. I'm sure that you all know that you can find the information on Strawberry Singh's blog, but here it is anyway... Mirror Mirror- Strawberry Singh. Faces of SL- Meg Hadlee

Hey everyone!

And here is the woman for tonight, the lovely Meg Hadlee. I had a lot of fun taking these pictures with her, and her sim is stunning! However, it is closed to the public.

"I've been in Second Life for a very long time now. Past the 8 year mark. I've seen and done a lot of things here on the grid. I've met a lot of people; and some I've known from my first rez back in 2004. SL is so many things for me. It's a place to exploit my creativity, my passions in RL that I can't always express, a place to meet friends - ones that I have even met in the real world many times, grow as a woman, learn things about myself and others that I may not have discovered otherwise.

Miranda- CandyDoll

Evening Lovelies!

Tonight I'm bringing you the new skin called Miranda, by CandyDoll. I decided to go with a different way of reviewing it, and picking my favorite makeup, and showing that, as well as showing a pic of me dressed.

It's a lovely, soft looking skin with just a hint of a tummy outline. The outfit I am wearing does not show it that well, but the skin does have a bit of hip definition as well. The skin comes with A, B, C and D cup options, the D cup being the cleavage option. I was not to fond of the nipples on the skin, but I am really picky when it comes to the private bits, because I Roleplay, and often end up showing breasts.

The face on Miranda is very cute. Nice bold eye colors, and a soft, kissable mouth. I love that the lip options with teeth just show a hint of teeth. Overall, a very cute skin, and one I would wear again to get a cute, girl next door look, at least for me:)

The skin comes in four tones: Latte, Cream, Caramel and Choco. I am wearing the Cream.  The eyebrow options seem to go with the skin tones, the lighter skin tone being for blondes, darker for darker hair.

Each skin is 799L, and a fatpack for one tone is 2,999, which includes six makeup options, and a natural skin. There are also lipstick fatpacks for $350L each, two packs for each skin tone.

And lastly, I am wearing the new mesh eyes from CandyDoll, in dark blue. They come with mesh eyes, and regular eyes.

New Maitreya- Look # 52

Of course, I had to show off the new release by Maitreya. As always, its top notch work. I love the detailing on the belt on the tunic, the way that it loops around, and the boots are just awesome. Also, it is another brand that fits me like a glove with no adjustment in shape.

A Little Less Mainstream- Look # 51

Afternoon everyone!

I went a little outside of my comfort zone today, and went with a sort of goth/punk/I dunno look...lol. I have piercings and tattoo's in real life, but I'm not all that alternative in my dressing style.

I've been wanting to blog the boots from J's for awhile now, and also the top by Villena. I love both, and the top fits so well. I have been loving Villena since the creator has started their mesh offerings. The detailing on the the boots are awesome as well, and my picture does not do them justice.

I'm also using one of the poses that were sent out by Exposeur for My Second Box, a monthly group that you can join for 300L. You join at the beginning of the month, and exclusive gifts get sent to the group on or around the 15th of the month, and then the group is shut down until the next round starts.

Roleplay Series Part 1.2

As promised, a follow up post with some people from the sim. I had asked them why Pani Roleplay appealed to them.

The picture above is of MaliciousIntention. He is the Sim owner, and builder as well. He had this to say about why he finds Pani Roleplay appealing:

"The main reason I ventured into the Pani role is because I am Asian and the idea of being able to rp within gor with elements that are common knowledge and familiar to me sounded like fun. Another reason would be that it was always a goal of mine to build a pani sim. I have to admit that I'm more of a builder rather than a roleplayer and most of my passion was not just placed into keeping this sim going but also within the build itself. I hope that also with this sim we would be able to spread
better awareness of what pani are about and encourage more people to give this role a fair shot in case they are curious about it. It's a continuous learning process and we are becoming more and
more used to this role and hopefully have more join as in this adventure."

And this is Bloodstained Jewell. She plays a Pani Free Woman, who's role is Rice (or Rence) farmer.

She had this to say about Pani Roleplay and its appeal:

"I've done so much and done so many things in Second Life Gor, the Pani sims were new, refreshing, a totally different spin on Gor.  The respect shown to women, the interesting culture taken from the
Japanese with Gorean mixed in.  But I think perhaps the biggest part, were the people here, they are good people, with good values, who aren't interested in the constant fighting and capturing, that a lot of the other sims seem to thrive on.  They are interested in quality of RP and quality of the people that role-play in their sim. I love it here, I don't think I could go back to traditional Gor."

And lastly, we have Amaranth Lionheart, the Swordsmith/Blacksmith of the Sim.

He had this to say about the appeal of Pani Roleplay:

"I've always been fascinated with samurai since I was a child. Now the fact that they put a culture that is based around the same ideals as the Japanese and warriors who are gorean samurai I could not resist."

Roleplay Series- Part 1

Hey Everyone:)

Today I am going to be blogging something a bit different. This will be a long post, so sorry in advance if that is not your thing!

I am a huge fan of Roleplay of all types, and I decided yesterday that I would start to do a monthly post on various types of Roleplay, and get pictures of some beautiful sims within the genres. This will most likely be a monthly thing for me.

Today, I am starting off with Gor, a genre that I participated in off and on for four years, and am thinking of going back into. I am going to be showing you a Gor Pani Sim, based off the book Swordsman of Gor. Now, the books are terribly written, but they are truly fun to Roleplay off.

The beautiful sim that I am showing you is called Morihokubu No Yaeichi. My pictures really don't do it justice. You enter on docks of course, and then there are many paths that lead to various buildings and gardens. I love that the sim was able to capture a very Japanese feel.

Pani is not a role that I have ever tried, so if you are interested in playing the role, you can read the book, or you can go to the sim, and they have a notecard of information that will help you get started in your role.
